Hatch Sterilization Pouches 2.25" x 4"

Designed for versatility, our Hatch self-sealing sterilization pouches support both steam and EO gas sterilization. Each pouch features a puncture-resistant, transparent film laminated to high-durability medical-grade paper for maximum protection.

Usage and Compatibility

• Methods: Designed for use in steam (vapor) and ethylene oxide (ETO) sterilization systems.

• Chemical Indicators: Printed on each pouch, these change color during sterilization to provide a visual indication that the pouch has been processed.

• Validation: Process indicators must be used in conjunction with routine biological indicators (spore tests) to verify sterilization.

• Sterility Maintenance: When properly sealed, sterility is maintained for up to two years, provided the pouch remains dry, undamaged, and unopened.
  
  

Storage and Loading Requirements

• Storage Environment: Store in a cool, dry place between 15–30°C (59–86°F) with 40–70% relative humidity.

• Loading: Use a pouch rack to stand pouches on edge if possible. Ensure the plastic side of one pouch faces the paper side of the next. Do not overload the sterilizer.

• Post-Sterilization: Ensure pouches are visibly dry before removing them from the sterilizer.
