IT26-1YS / Unique point chemical integrator for steam sterilization processes between 121°C and 134°C.

Controls steam sterilization processes within the range of 121°C to 135°C.

Characteristics

  • Type 5 Integrator Indicator (per ISO 11140-1).
  • One-side-laminated strips with indicator ink.
  • Dimensions: 70 mm x 23 mm.
  • Initial color: Yellow.
  • Final color: Black.
  • 100% free from toxic heavy metals.

Instructions for Use

  1. Place an Integron® IT26-1YS chemical integrator in each package, bag, or tray to be sterilized by steam. In rigid containers, position an IT26-1YS in every corner or at least two diagonally opposite corners to ensure complete steam penetration.
  2. Execute the sterilization cycle.
  3. After the cycle is complete, remove the indicators from the sterilizer and evaluate the results. The ink on all chemical indicators exposed to steam should turn to the black reference color when proper integration conditions are met.
