Overview
4% Citanest Plain Dental is a prilocaine hydrochloride local anesthetic for infiltration and nerve block in dentistry. The formula has no vasoconstrictor and no preservative.
- Active: Prilocaine hydrochloride 4% (40 mg/mL)
- Cartridge: 1.8 mL glass dental cartridge, 72 mg prilocaine each
- Pack: 50 cartridges per box
- Onset: About 2 to 3 minutes with infiltration
- Duration: About 1 to 1.5 hours of soft tissue anesthesia with infiltration
- Supply: Single use, discard any unused portion
Store the cartridges in their carton, and do not autoclave them.
