Spongostan Dental is a sterile, absorbable sponge made from porcine gelatin for hemostatic use. Apply it to a bleeding surface, either dry or saturated with sterile saline.
- Size: 1 cm x 1 cm x 1 cm
- Pack: 24 sponges per box
- Material: Porcine gelatin, water-insoluble and malleable
- Appearance: Off-white and porous
- Use: Surgical hemostasis (not ophthalmic) when pressure or ligature is ineffective or impractical
- Storage: Dry, at 15 to 30°C
For use by healthcare professionals trained in the surgical technique. Read the instructions in the package before use.

Local Pickup
You can pick up your order from our warehouse at 4181 Sladeview Crescent, Unit 50 and 51, Mississauga, ON L5L 5R2. Choose Pickup at checkout. We will contact you when your pickup is ready. It usually takes 3 to 4 business days.
Dangerous Goods
A Dangerous Goods Surcharge (DGS) of $20.00 CAD applies to orders that ship with certain chemicals, marked with *DGS. It is added to the shipping rate at checkout. Pickup orders don't pay the surcharge. The DGS charge is subject to change without notice.
